Regaining Our Cutting Edge (Notes From My Bible Study Plan)

In reading the Bible Study Plan, Regaining Our Cutting Edge, we first discover how we lost it in the first place. By becoming spiritually dull we stopped listening and following the guidance of the Holy Ghost. We simply "stopped" listening. Thus, we have become dull and ineffective instruments in the hand of God, becoming nothing more than useless weight. 

We have all been there and done that. The dire thing is, many of us remain in that state of uselessness because we refuse to return to listening, leaning in, and obeying the voice of God.

What is He saying? Better still, what has he said that we are yet to fulfill? Why should He say any more? Until we can obey He first command, we preclude ourselves from the second, third and fourth commands (instructions) we need for moving further.

So stop blaming God for things not moving expeditiously in our lives when in fact, we ourselves, are the holdup. We cannot, and will not be effective instruments in His hand until we become totally and selflessly obedient to every Word He speaks.
